Regenerative Injection Therapy

Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT) is a group of regenerative medicine treatments that can stabilize and repair painful joints and surrounding tissues. Types of Regenerative Injection Therapy offered in our office include dextrose prolotherpy, platelet rich plasma therapy and biocellular therapy.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy, or Proliferative Therapy is an effective non-surgical treatment which stimulates healing of damaged joints, tendons and ligaments. The dextrose solution bathes the joint in much needed nutrients and promotes stimulation of tissue regeneration and healing.

Conditions most often treated with prolotherapy include: osteoarthritis, sports injuries, tendonitis, rotator cuff tears, tennis & golfers elbow, plantar fasciitis, ligament laxity, joint pain and many others.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)

PRP is a powerful regerative therapy that uses stem cells found in your own blood to stimulate healing of joints and damaged tissues. This exciting next-generation treatment shows long-lasting results, often with fewer treatments that traditional dextrose prolotherapy.

Conditions most often treated with platelet rich plasma therapy include: degenerative joint disease, ligamentous laxity, meniscal and labral tears, tendinopathy, chronic joint pain, rotator cuff syndrome and many others.

Biocellular Therapy (Stem Cell Therapy)

Stem cell therapy utilized cellular extractions from bone marrow and/or fat. High levels of stem cells can be extracted and used to stimulated growth of new tissues and regeneration of damaged tissues.

Conditions most often treated with biocellular therapy include: chronic pain syndromes that fail to respond to other treatments.
